Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
As a counselor, I seek to meet clients where they are at and provide a supportive, caring and open space to process their needs. I see each client as the expert in their own lives, and work with them to find an individualized process that works best for them to meet their goals. Through a person-centered foundation, I work alongside clients with an integrative approach to allow clients to process grief, life transitions, depression, and other concerns that they bring to help guide them towards their goals and personal growth.
Counseling is a great place to not only explore concerns and personal issues, but to also achieve personal growth. As a counselor, I work to ensure that the therapeutic process works to instill hope for clients to help them grow and achieve goals.
My counseling style focuses primarily on the person centered approaches of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard in order to provide an open and caring environment for clients to explore the needs that brought them to counseling. From this foundation, I work with my clients to find what will work best for them in their healing process.
